Getting Ready

The hours before a ceremony have their own rhythm. There is concentration, movement and sudden laughter — a collection of small rituals that says as much about a wedding as the ceremony itself.

Rather than interrupting that rhythm, I observe it. The result is a sequence of warm, honest photographs that brings you back to how the morning actually felt.
